UBI Factor is one of the Italian's primary factoring companies with an overall turnover from operations totaling 5.5 billion Euro in 2009.
UBI Factor, formerly named CBI Factor, was established in 1981 by a pool of banks under the initiative of the Central Institute of Banks and Bankers. In the late '90s it was purchased by the Banca Lombarda Group, and in 2005 it was merged with Veneta Factoring.
Following the birth of the UBI Banca Group, on September 2008, CBI Factor changed its name in UBI Factor, becoming the factoring company of the UBI Banca Group, the fifth largest Italian Banking Group in terms of branches.
Since 1984, UBI Factor is part of the Factors Chain International network which allows it to be present in more than 50 countries, with more than 20 foreign partners.
